LAHORE: Security forces arrested 338 suspects in search operations conducted in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Peshawar, Bannu and Swabi on Monday.
Among them 244 suspects were arrested during search operations carried out in different areas of Swabi on Monday morning. The arrested people also include fifteen terrorist facilitators while, 48 suspects were also arrested in Mardan and Bannu.
According to details, 24 suspects were arrested in Sheikh Maltoon, Mardan and the same numbers of suspects were apprehended in Bannu.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the hideouts.
Eighty-six suspects, including Afghan nationals, were arrested during search operations in Rawalpindi.
According to reports, Police, Rangers and other security forces personnel took part in the joint operations.
Meanwhile law enforcement agencies have arrested ten suspects including nine Afghan nationals in a search operation conducted in Sohaan and adjoining areas of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Over 170 homes were also searched during the operation.
