KARACHI: A man was shot dead by robbers on resistance in Machhar colony area of the metropolis on Monday.
According to rescue sources, two armed robbers riding a motorbike intercepted a 30-year-old man, Muhammad Rafiq son of Sharaf Din, in Machhar colony, but he resisted them on which the robbers opened fire. As a result, he suffered severe bullet injuries and died on the spot.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
